The des moines art festival
The Des Moines Art Festival is one of the most respected juried art shows in the nation, attracting more than 200,000 people each year. I will be showing and selling my work under the Emerging Iowa Artists category.

The Middle of NOWhere is a rural music and arts festival aimed at elevating and highlighting local artists and musicians in Iowa. Stop by for a day of live music, lots of local art vendors, plus food and wine, in a lovely rural Iowan setting!

Janice Peterson Anderson Medallion Award Exhibition
To celebrate the legacy of Janice Peterson Anderson, every year Iowa State faculty selects the most outstanding senior in the graphic design, interior design and integrated studio arts majors to share their work in an exhibit and have a chance to be awarded with the JPA Medallion Award. I was the selected representative from the Integrated Studio Arts class of 2023 and was awarded as the overall Janice Peterson Anderson Medallion Award winner of 2023.

Join me for the 53rd annual Octagon Art Festival where there will be live music, food vendors, family activities and close to 100 artists!

Wire wrapping class
I'm teaching a two-week class, presenting basic information and tips to working with wire and showing students how to create their own pendant.
The class is from 5:30-8pm Monday 19th and 26th.

The Valley Junction art festival
Over 50 artists from Iowa and beyond will take over 5th Street. Live entertainment will be part of the festivities as well. Art activities and artists’ demonstrations will take place throughout the day. Refreshments will be available from several food vendors on the street and many Valley Junction restaurants and retailers will be open as well.
