Self portrait

I used this project as a form of self reflection on the person I used to be and my path that got me to where I am now. The old chain I found has years of dirt and rust on it. I extended this rusty chain and morphed it to transition to cleaner, more detailed links. This piece represents the mental, emotional and physical morphing of myself to become a better person. It’s important to move out of bad places, but also to remember the work you did to leave that place. This is an on-going project, I’ll be adding a link every year to reflect and represent my position in that time.
